What’s Happening with Missouri Medicaid Billing and EVV?
(Updated October 2020: As a result of Missouri being granted a Good Faith Effort Exemption, Missouri Personal Care Services (PCS) providers have until January 1, 2021, to comply with the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements of the 21st Century CURES Act. This date is now fast approaching but Rosemark can help.
Our Rosemark System EVV tools (including a mobile app and telephony service) are approved for use in Missouri and meet all state and federal requirements so your business can continue to provide care and receive Medicaid reimbursements for qualifying services. To learn more about how our EVV options can get you Missouri Medicaid EVV compliant, contact us today to speak with a Rosemark team member at 734-662-3537 or info@rosemarksystem.com.)
Missouri DHSS states that in order to comply with the CURES Act, the Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS), MO HealthNet Division (MHD) has opted to pursue an open vendor model, allowing providers of PCS and HHCS to select the EVV vendor which best suits their needs, or to continue to utilize their existing system. The implementation of the EVV vendor will not be funded by MHD funds.
It also states that the requirements set forth by DSDS do not meet all needs of the CURES Act, and not all responses contained in the FAQs are consistent with the upcoming mandates. A new regulation to meet all requirements outlined in the CURES Act is being drafted at this time. Until the new regulation is in place, current DSDS regulation continues to be in effect.
According to a flyer put out by the Missouri Department of Social Services, the Missouri Department of Mental Health and the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services (DHSS) If you are a Missouri HealthNet provider and offer any of these services, you must implement EVV by January 1, 2020.

Real Customer Testimonial
“We were used to using two different systems before we started using Rosemark. When I realized that Rosemark could do it all for us it started to be really simple. Now I use the caregiver mobile app (EVV – electronic visit verification) for all of my caregivers.
We absolutely love you guys, we can do everything we need to do in one system. I can’t praise your company enough, I have no complaints. I should tell more people about it (Rosemark).
I hope you don’t mind, but I consider Shoshana (Rosemark) a part of our team and we are fortunate we found you!”
