ROSE Award: Recognizing Outstanding Caregivers
Each year, one home care caregiver is recognized for the service and dedication that make a lasting difference for clients, families, and the agency they work for.
ROSE AWARDRecognition of Outstanding Service Excellence
ROSE stands for Recognition of Outstanding Service Excellence. The award honors caregivers whose compassion, reliability, and consistency stand out to the clients, families, coworkers, and communities they serve.
Nominations for the 2026 ROSE Award are open now through October 30, 2026. Rosemark customers are invited to nominate a caregiver from their agency, someone who reflects what the award was created to recognize, from exceptional day-to-day service to the kind of dependability an agency builds its reputation on.
Last Year’s Recipient
Charlene Gamble of Taylor Made Home Care was named the inaugural ROSE Award Caregiver of the Year. Her nomination stood out for the compassion, dedication, and exceptional service she brought to her clients and her agency.
“Caregivers carry the relationships a home care agency is built on,” said Nicky Reynolds, marketing communications manager at Rosemark. “The ROSE Award gives agencies a way to put one of those stories on record. The nominations we read in our first year were so uplifting, we couldn’t wait for year two to begin.”

ROSE Award Questions
What is the ROSE Award?
The ROSE Award is an annual recognition from Rosemark honoring one home care caregiver for the difference they make in the lives of the clients they serve. ROSE stands for Recognition of Outstanding Service Excellence. Nominations come from the home care agencies that employ these caregivers, and the 2026 award is the second time it has been given.
Who can be nominated for the ROSE Award?
Any caregiver who currently works for a home care agency that is a Rosemark customer, and who provides care and support to people in their homes, can be nominated. There is no minimum length of service or job title requirement.
Who can submit a ROSE Award nomination?
Home care agencies that are current Rosemark customers submit nominations on behalf of their caregivers. Caregivers cannot nominate themselves, and nominations from agencies outside the Rosemark customer base are not eligible for judging.
How many caregivers can one agency nominate?
Each agency may nominate one caregiver. Agencies operating multiple franchise locations may nominate one caregiver per location.
When is the 2026 ROSE Award nomination deadline?
Nominations close on October 30, 2026. The nomination window opened on September 21, 2026.
How are ROSE Award nominations judged?
Nominations are judged blind by partners from across the home care industry. Judges review the nomination without knowing which agency submitted it, so every caregiver is evaluated on the strength of their story rather than on the size or visibility of the agency that nominated them.
What makes a strong ROSE Award nomination?
The nomination form asks one core question: why should this caregiver be selected, and what makes them deserving of the recognition. The strongest nominations answer with a specific story rather than a general description, so a single memorable moment or a concrete example of how the caregiver made a difference carries more weight than a list of good qualities. Nominations require at least one photo of the caregiver, and supporting materials such as client testimonials, videos, or photos from community service activities can strengthen a submission.
What does a ROSE Award nomination require?
An online nomination form submission and at least one photo of the caregiver, either an individual photo or a group photo with agency staff. Email and verbal nominations are not accepted. Supporting materials are optional.
When will the 2026 ROSE Award winner be announced?
Finalists are announced in November 2026, and the 2026 ROSE Award recipient is announced in December 2026.
